Compassionate Birmingham Event – University of Birmingham, School of Nursing and Midwifery
On Wednesday 25th May 1.30pm-3.00pm, we are privileged to be joined Dr Emma Hodges (Development Director of Compassionate Communities) and Dr Kathryn Drysdale (Senior Integration Officer of BSOL) to deliver a seminar on the project and ambitions for the city.
Did you know that Birmingham has now been accredited as the first Compassionate city in the UK?
With a key aim of improving the experiences of death, dying, loss and caregiving, this project bringing together all areas of the local community, including Birmingham City Council, NHS, schools, cultural organisations and employers including the University of Birmingham.
